Synchronized Swimming

GPW children between the ages of 7 and 17 are encouraged to join the GPW Synchronized Swim Team. The program runs five weeks and offers participants an opportunity to learn synchronized swimming techniques as well as preparing the group for a final show.

Requirements for the team include passing or demonstrating Level 3 swimming ability. Practice times are subject to change during preparation for the show.

Synchronized Swim Parent Meeting

Tuesday, June 11 at 7 p.m. at the bathhouse lobby

Practices are Monday - Thursday, June 17 - July 26, 2024
Ages 7 - 10 (grades 2 - 5) practice 12:45 p.m.- 1:45 p.m.
Ages 11-17 (grades 6- 12) practice 1:45 p.m. - 2:45 p.m.

All practices are held in the swim team section (lap lanes next to the diving well).

There are two scheduled performances for the Synchronized Swim Team.

• Tuesday, July 15 at 7 p.m. | All Pointe Synchronized Swim Show on Tuesday, July 15, 2024 at 7 p.m. - Location GPW Aquatic Facility
• Saturday, July 27 at 10 a.m. | Team Final Show at GPW Aquatic Facility

Introduction to Synchronized Swimming

Registration begins Tuesday, June 4 at 8:30 a.m.

June 24—July 26, Tuesday & Thursday (no class 7/4)
10:50–11:30 a.m.
Held in the regular lap lanes, depth 4.5 feet

Designed to teach participants fundamental skills of synchronized swimming. Introduction to synchronized swimming participants will have a routine in the Synchronized Swim Show on Saturday, July 27.
Practice will not be held on Tuesday, July 4. A dress rehearsal will be held on Friday, July 26 for the entire team 12:45—2:45 p.m
